Service To Science Initiative

The SIGNALS curriculum is currently in 16 states and 66 Kentucky agencies / organizations. Public and private schools, churches, treatment centers, drug courts and other youth organizations have incorporated SIGNALS as prevention education, early intervention programming, or as a component of their existing substance abuse program. The SIGNALS program of at the Kentucky United Methodist Homes for Children & Youth. received a 2007 Service to Science Initiative Federal Project Award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Pilot Evaluation Capacity Building for Evidence-based Interventions project is designed to grow the field of Evidence-based Interventions. by enhancing their capacity to evaluate outcomes.
